We also record data about your reading habits, such as bookmarks, likes, and chapter progress, to improve your experience and calculate royalties for authors.

Your data is used to provide a personalized reading experience, track your progress across devices, and ensure accurate royalty payments to storytellers. We may use your email for critical sanctuary updates or account recovery.
3. Data Security
We prioritize the safety of your words and identity. Authorly uses industry-standard encryption and Firebase's secure authentication systems to protect your data. While no method is 100% secure, we continuously update our protocols to prevent unauthorized access.
4. Third-Party Services
We leverage Firebase (a Google service) for hosting, database management, and authentication. We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or third parties. Any data shared with our technical partners is strictly for the purpose of maintaining sanctuary functionality.
5. Your Control & Rights
You have the full right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can manage your profile settings or delete your account entirely through the Settings dashboard.
