- Provide and maintain the Authorly service.
- Sync your reading progress across multiple devices.
- Process and verify royalty payouts for authors.
- Communicate critical sanctuary updates or security alerts.

Authorly is built on Google's Firebase infrastructure. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We leverage industry-leading authentication protocols to ensure only you have access to your private drafts and account settings.
4Third-Party Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website (like Firebase for hosting/database), so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.
5Your Rights & Access
You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information at any time via your account settings. If you wish to permanently delete your account and all associated story data, you may do so within the app or by contacting support.
